pitch measurements

See Standard pitch measurements (Imperial version), if the laws were formulated in England, and were initially administered solely by the four British football associations IFAB were the standard size of a football field, originally expressed in imperial units. The Laws now express dimensions with some metric equivalents (by traditional units in brackets), but widespread use is inclined to the traditional units in English speaking countries continue to use in a relatively short history of the metric system, such as the UK .

The length of the pitch for international adult matches is in the range of 100-110 meters (110-120 feet) and width in the range of 64-75 meters (70-80 feet). Fields for non-international matches are 91-120 meters (100-130 feet) in length and 45-91 meters (50-101 feet) in width, provided that the pitch is not to place.
