His Daimler and Maybach founded Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft (Daimler Motor Company, DMG) in Cannstatt in 1890 and under the brand name Daimler sells its first car in 1892, a horse and cart car built by another manufacturer that they may rest with an engine whose design. In 1895 about 30 vehicles were built by Daimler and Maybach, either at the Daimler works or in the Hotel Hermann, where they settle.
