Since the demise of his 1968 Cream reunited briefly in 1993 to perform at the ceremony to initiate them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A full scale of the meeting legendary trio took place in May 2005, Clapton, Bruce, Baker and played four sold-out concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London (the scene of their farewell shows in 1968) and three more at Madison Square New York garden in October.

The recordings of the shows in London were released on CD, LP and DVD in September / December 2005.
